The WILDFOX Resort Collection Is Inspired By Your Favorite Sad Hollywood Story
WILDFOX Couture has become your one-stop-shop for oversized sweaters and tee’s ideal for lounging during cuffing season, with or without your boo, and sexy swimwear for when you’re ready to sweat that fake tan off by the pool when the summer hits. The LA-based-brand has been known for it’s unique collaborations and collections including a collaboration with Mattel’s Barbie, a gypsy inspired Spring collection, and most recently, a capsule partnered with America’s favorite soda, Coca-Cola, for the 100th anniversary with the drink.
However, the newest resort 2015 collection goes back to the brands original Beverly Hills roots, with a lookbook inspired by the 1960’s classic film that originally brought to light the contradictory fascination with the women of show business, “Valley of the Dolls.” Set in a pastel colored house somewhere undoubtedly in the Hollywood Hills or along the winding roads of Bel Air, the pieces include brightly colored sweaters, groovy graphic floral prints, graphic patchwork two piece sets and tuxedo-inspired swimsuits. I mean, that sequin maxi skirt is to die for (no pun intended). Check out some of our favorite looks from the collection revealed today, and shop the collection here.
