Stefan’s Head Combines Fashion With Drug Deal Appeal
Have you ever found yourself thinking, “Gee, I sure do wish buying clothes could be more like buying drugs?” If so, I got the guy for you. His name is Stefan and his number is 646-759-0904.
Buying clothes from Stefan is really simple: first, you send him a text message with your name and your Twitter handle. Then, if he thinks you’re cool enough, he’ll put you on a list to receive text message updates about limited-edition runs of shirts.
If you want to make a purchase, all you need to do is enter your credit card information once, and Stefan remembers it forever. He also remembers what size shirt you are and what your name is, because unlike your drug dealer, Stefan isn’t always high, so he can remember things. He can also remember things because he’s a robot. Apps are funny that way.
Although Stefan isn’t the guy you’re getting texts from, he is the guy designing all of the goods, at least according to one of the guy’s who’s trying to get you to buy into his product. Stefan’s head, an NYC-based startup founded by Sathish Naadimuthu, Trey Sisson, and Michael Kushner after discovering that their customers were “surprisingly into communicating via text.”
Apparently Stefan is “an actual guy we met at a ridiculous party in L.A.” who just so happens to be “a prominent artists” whose major interests include “streetwear and fashion.”
But don’t take our word for it – go ahead and see what Stefan’s about for yourself. Whoever the f-ck he is.
