Sophie Simmons Releases New Single, Covering Your Favorite Hit 90s Song

Rock ‘n’ roll heiress Sophie Tweed Simmons has released a new single, titled “Kiss Me”, covering the 90s hit song ‘Kiss Me’ by Sixpence None The Richer (Yup, the one from all your favorite romantic comedies). The single, a collaboration with DJ Rebel and is the first in a succession of projects that Sophie will be releasing shortly. She told Galore, “This was a passion project, but my upcoming EP, No Filter is coming out soon, sans-label.”

With famous parents (dad is Gene Simmons of Kiss, and mom is actress Shannon Tweed) Sophie would make headlines either way, but she’s worked hard to avoid the stereotype of ‘famous rich kid’. Aside from singing and modeling, she’s developed a clothing line, starred in dad’s reality show ‘Family Jewels’, and built her own charity, Sophie’s Place.

Hear the single below, follow Sophie on Twitter, and head over to iTunes and Spotify to purchase and stream.
