Samii Ryan’s “Sex & The Valley” Blog Is A Must Read For The Young And Sexually Frustrated

Samii Ryan’s been in more creepy sexual situations in her young life than most women have at eighty. But instead brushing them under the rug, she liberates herself by writing about all the WTF moments for her refreshingly candid blog, Sex & the Valley. Sex & the Valley is doing what Sex & the City did for us upon first viewing. It shows us that we’re not alone when navigating crazy, awkward, and cringe-worthy dating situations. Samii riffs on everything from the pain of being the lone single girl in your friend-group to toxic relationships, and her wise words and laugh-out-loud posts let readers laugh in the face of dating pain. Basically, it’s a site that’s dedicated to helping the young and sexually frustrated figure out the labyrinth of dating in Los Angeles.

When Samii is not going on dates and documenting them for the sake of her reader’s love lives, she’s a slasher girl. Her multi-faceted career spans modeling, designing accessories, and appearing as a video vixen in super cool shorts like Fetty Wap’s 1 Hunnid music video. “I have so much more to offer than just my looks!” she told us. She’s honest, harsh, and accessible… well, except when she’s intimidating men with the fear that they’ll see themselves described on Sex & the Valley.

How do you know what to write on your blog?

I get the ideas for my blog from my personal life. I have always been an open book. I started Sex & The Valley after a breakup and I wanted revenge on all the guys who had hurt my feelings. So, I decided to write an expose called “The 5 Men Of Los Angeles, The City Of Assholes” and the blog went from there. To this day I intimidate men when I meet them… everyone is scared I am going to write about them. But in reality if I write about you, it’s an honor!

Why did you decide to take a different route from style blogging?

I decided to switch routes from my personal style blog because I felt like I have a voice, an opinion, and I want to say things that all girls my age are thinking but are scared to say out loud. I have always been very comfortable with my sexuality. Talking about sex is easy for me because I have been open about it since the first time I had sex. Writing is an enjoyment for me and I try to write my posts as intellectually stimulating as possible without saying the words, “dick” or “pussy.” I use words such as: manhood and kitten. Maybe I am the next Carrie Bradshaw…

What’s the best part of being a sex bomb?

The best part about being a sex bomb is that it is who I am. I am confident, strong, independent, opinionated, and sweet. I love showing other women that it is okay to celebrate your body. Yes, your body is your temple, and I chose to decorate mine with extravagant body art and take photos that are sexy, sassy, and scandalous. I secretly love that I am a temptress. I want women to know that we are all beautiful in our own way and the best part about that is that we are all one of a kind. We are all works of art.. I just chose to share mine creatively and visually.

What’s the one thing you wish you could tell your shamers before they press the send button on hate mail?

Just like Nicki Minaj said “Shout out to my haters, sorry that you didn’t phase me.” I really have nothing to say to them besides thank you for lighting a fire underneath me. If people are going to talk about someone I would want them to talk about me. So go on haters, call me whatever you want! I have an invisible brick wall that blocks out all negativity around me. I only let positivity and light enter my life so everything they say is deflected back at them. Karma is a bitch.
