Hollywood New Girl Sadie Calvano Talks Acting & Spice Girls
Sadie Calvano oozes Hollywood glam. She may play a preggo teen on CBS’ “Mom,” but the 17 year old stunner is far from a confused youngster in real life. At such a young age, this babe is rising quickly in the land of entertainment. We love a girl who knows what she wants, so we decided to chat with Sadie to learn exactly what that is. Sadie tells us why she loves acting, her go to Spice Girls shower song, and what to expect from her career in 2015. See her interview below!

What were the last three things you charged to your credit card?
A vintage necklace from Etsy, Burt’s Bees chap-stick, and coffee!
What are the next two things you want to check off your bucket list?
I am dying to travel. I want to go to Europe next. Also, I am (hopefully) about to start college.
What are you singing in the shower nowadays?
“Stacy’s Mom” and Spice Girls’ “Wannabe” regularly.
What were your New Years resolutions?
I am trying to push myself out of my comfort zone as much as possible, and to remain very conscious of the importance of moderation in my life.
What app do you use most often?
How did you make your first dollar?
Probably from Flossy, the tooth fairy. When I was in elementary school, I sold lemonade and would do a backflip for an extra dollar.
What would be your ideal role in a movie?
I love being an actor because it enables me to communicate thought-provoking stories to people around the world. Genre couldn’t matter less to me (I love doing it all), but what I really care about is that a character is trying to communicate. So, I guess my “ideal role” would be someone who has a powerful story to tell. I also think it would be fun to play a badass spy or something.
What is next for you in 2015?
I really hope to be doing a film over my spring hiatus. Working on a sitcom is so cool, but I am anxious to explore other aspects of the industry. Hopefully, this coming Fall I will start taking some college classes and who knows! I have a good feeling about this year. I’m stoked to see what life has in store.
