PREMIERE: Watch Stef Lang “Burn It To The Ground”
Canadian singer-songwriter Stef Lang is ready to “Burn It To The Ground.” Just in time for the weekend, the 27-year-old R&B songstress is premiering her new music video via Galore. As the first single off of her EP Arrows, Lang says the song is about “rising above the conflict, being empowered by who you are and allowing the experience to change you for the better. It takes time to grow and it takes time to change and I was inspired to reflect that in this song. Writing this song was also my way to forgiveness, freeing myself from negative energy.”
About creating the video, Lang says, “I referenced a few videos back and forth with the director and we bounced ideas off of each other in terms of different looks and effects so we came up with the concept together. I wanted it to have some contrast between black and white and some interesting layers in the effects. I also wanted to explore a bit more with hair and makeup, and experiment with different looks. With the directors experience in fashion we got to have a little fun with these ideas and collaborated on creating the shots together.”
