PREMIERE: Chanel West Coast Wanders Abandoned LA in “Beverly Chillz”

Chanel West Coast is on a mission to save LA fashion. Written and directed by Grizz Lee, this “Beverly Chillz” short film shows the “Ridiculousness” star and upcoming rapper as she and Scottish singer-songwriter Liam Horne scour the eerily abandoned streets of Los Angeles in a Lamborghini LM2002, comically using the plotline to promote designer Brian Lichtenberg’s F/W 2015 line—a collection showcasing luxury brand logos with edgy punk rock imagery.

Berkeley rapper Keith Jenkins also joins the fun, having provided the soundtrack for the Picasso House Films short, in addition to trap producers Troyboi and Ice Kream.

About the film, Horne says:

“Working with the talented Brian Lichtenberg was an honor. I’m always passionate about people and projects and pushing the envelope. Fashion and music go hand in hand, so this felt like a natural thing to be a part of.”

Chanel West Coast adds in, “When asked to be a part of this project, I jumped at the chance. I love Brian’s clothing designs and I am constantly wearing pieces of his for performances and events. He is an outside-the-box, forward-thinking designer, so I knew it was going to be something dope and different.”
