Never forget, when Kris met Caitlyn, Caitlyn was broke af
Love can be the best of times, but it can also be the worst of times if your bae is broke af.
While some of your more savage friends might tell you to dump them immediately, if it’s really love, you do have another option: to pull a Kris Jenner.
Because before Kris turned her family into American royalty, Caitlyn was legit broke.
Like $200 in the bank broke.

“It didn’t look so good on paper,” Kris admitted in an interview with Janet Mock excerpted on Lenny Letter. But it was love.
So instead of stopping to “think about, What’s the plan here? I just went for it,” Kris explained. “I said, ‘We’re going to move into this house. We’re going to work hard.’”
And it’s safe to say that’s exactly what happened.
Caitlyn went from being a former Olympian who didn’t even have a business card to being an in-demand public speaker for Visa and Coca-Cola.
And in the process, Kris realized that she was kind of a genius at utilizing her family’s innate talents and interests and turning them into mountains of cold hard cash.

So yeah, if you’re dating somebody who’s embarrassingly broke, there can be light at the end of the tunnel. You just have to be willing to be the one to crack the whip instead of waiting for them to get off their ass.
Granted, it’s probably a lot easier to pull this kind of thing off if you marry somebody who’s kinda famous to begin with, but let’s be real, Kris could have plucked anybody off the street and made it happen.
But if you’re not willing to dedicate your life to somebody like that, yeah, save yourself the time and just dump their ass now.
