It’s been a long ass time since Lorde released her debut album “Pure Heroine,” and finally it looks like a new album is actually happening.
Today Lorde posted a long letter to Facebook filled with random things like, “I’m eating raspberries sitting up in bed, thinking about watching ‘The Crown,’” musings about how she’s about to be 20, and most importantly, updates about new music.
“I just need to keep working a while longer to make it as good as it can be. You’ll have to hold on. The big day is not tomorrow, or even next month realistically, but soon,” Lorde wrote on Facebook. “I know you understand.”
We do, but also real talk girl, we’re foaming at the mouth over your new album, so don’t take too long reveling in the glory of not being a teenager anymore.
Either way, at least she’s still got a way with words, right?
