Lauren Conrad’s Debut NYFW Line Is Chrissy Teigen Approved

Last night Lauren Conrad showed just how far she’s come since her Laguna Beach days by making her NYFW debut.  Partnering with Kohl’s, the L.C. Lauren Conrad Runway collection “follows the easy, whimsical style” of Lauren’s regular Kohl’s brand, only with “amazing fabrications, vintage-inspired pieces and intricate detailing.”  Basically, this is just code for, “the shirts look like they cost more than $15.”  And they really do.  They look like they cost $25, at the minimum.

Her limited-edition romantic, floral-ridden and very white collection already has one very high profile fan: Chrissy Teigen, who was front row center for Lauren’s NYFW debut.

“Oh I loved it,” Teigen gushed to InStyle after the show. “This is the only fashion week thing I’m attending, and I’ve always been a Lauren Conrad fan secretly – hopefully she doesn’t know that. I’ve been rooting for her since the beginning, so to see her turn from a reality superstar to this complete mogul, to have this empire is really exciting.  I feel like I’ve watched her grow.”

We all have Chrissy, we all have.

In fact, going through Lauren’s debut collection, it’s hard to pick out a favorite look.  There’s the hippie dippie white dress:

the all white pantsuit:

the lacy white romper:

and, my personal favorite, the white dress with a very edgy blue belt:

Lauren Conrad’s exclusive Kohl’s collection is available online now, and so long as you’re not one of those people who doesn’t believe in wearing white after labor day, you should really consider stocking up now.
