Kylie Jenner Gets that While She Has Haters, Other People Have Real Problems

Kylie Jenner has a message for us all: she’s not the out-of-touch Insta princess people think she is.

In a new interview with Wonderland magazine, Kylie talked about the public’s misconceptions of her, plus her goals for the future.

“Nobody really knows who I am. People think that because we have a reality TV show that they know everything,” Kylie explained. “that’s maybe 5 percent out of my day.”

Even though she’s young, she Kylie demonstrates in this interview that she’s on her way to becoming a powerful and savvy woman. Here are four of our favorite truth bombs that King Kylie dropped in the pages of Wonderland.

1. She knew about Caitlyn for her whole life

I mean, obviously I knew about it my whole life, but it was never admitted to and then when it was all said and done, I honestly just wanted to not be lied to. I just wanted honesty and no secrets. I’m OK with everything, as long as everyone’s honest. I want to encourage people to live their life, you know?”

2. She understands that other people have bigger, more real issues than she does:

Growing up, I’ve heard the worst things anyone could ever say about me and bullying was such a big part of my life, with the whole entire world judging me and stuff. So I started to look towards people with, like, I think, bigger, more real issues than I have. They inspire me because I was like, ‘I’m getting bullied all the time, but they’re just haters and [these people] deal with real-life issues.’”

3. She has NOT gotten plastic surgery, okay?

“People think that I’ve had everything done. I thought it was going to chill down when I said: ‘OK, I admit it, I got my lips done, I never lied, I just wasn’t telling the whole truth.’ And then people took that and were like, ‘Oh well, if she got her lips done she probably got everything done’. People don’t realize I just turned 18, so there’s no way my mom would ever let me undergo a nose job or a boob job.”

4. She’s planning on an early retirement:

“It’s not that I don’t want to do it…Yeah, actually I kind of just don’t want to do it any more. Honestly. But I’ve always been like that. I want to be a businesswoman and be behind-the-scenes. Kylie Jenner needs to retire.”

Okay, so technically we already knew about that one, but still — if Kylie actually goes through with deleting her Instagram, that would be the news story to end all news stories. Although come to think of it, wouldn’t deleting an app that allowed you direct access to 52.5 million people be bad for her business?

Just saying, Kylie. You may want to rethink your stance on that last one.
