An Argument For Kitten Heels: Tall Heels? Sore Ass!

A majority of the time, my life consists of a sore booty. Why? Because I’m a fat skinny girl. Yes, you read that right. I am a fat skinny girl. Or, in other words, I am a long string bean filled with blubber. I have zero muscles, but I’m naturally skinny. (Okay. Throw your dirty gym towels at my face.) “Naturally skinny? Tough life…” is probably what you’re thinking, and I don’t blame you. I realize it sounds like I’m living the average girl’s dream, but being skinny since birth left me with absolutely no motivation to work out. While many females have thigh definition, some sign of abdominal muscles, and healthy hearts, my thin frame jiggles like Jell-O, and I will probably die of an In-N-Out-induced heart attack. I’ve come to accept looking like slightly melted string cheese, but I am not okay with my daily case of sore ass.

This complaint brings me to my next complaint: high heels. They make my legs and butt hurt! Gal pals of mine who worship Pilates and are in a committed relationship with Hot Yoga never have this problem. Funny how that works. I’m not mentally lazy, but physically I am sitting in a chair writing about hot girls all day. And after that, I sit down some more. As a fashion/beauty editor, there is definitely pressure for me to look good on the regular. If I’m not lying to any of you, every morning when I wake up, I seriously contemplate wearing leggings, Nikes, and a baggy sweatshirt. NEWSFLASH: Every female is secretly basic, even the ones who get paid to teach girls how not to be basic. Did I just admit to all of you that I’m somewhat basic? LMAO.

So, to finally get to the point of this entire article: kitten heels. Am I the only one who doesn’t hate them? Why does everyone hate them?! They’re for old ladies. They’re visually unappealing. No short girl in the world understands them. Well, I’m here to tell you that you’re all wrong. They give you a chic look while saving your muscles (or lack thereof) from days after days of discomfort! All the iconic women from eras past, who so many people, including us at Galore love, wore these mini pumps. This is why I think our Kittens should too! Check out my personal favorites, and buy them. Or, go to the gym. Either way.
