There’s Going To Be A Harry Potter Spin Off Movie, And Kate Upton Might Be Starring In It
In case you’ve been hiding under a rock, or maybe just aren’t a part of the Harry Potter fandom, J.K. Rowling and Warner Bros. announced a major film adaptation of the Harry Potter related book, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them. Originally mentioned in the first Harry Potter novel, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Rowling released a real life version of the book back in 2001. Now that book is being made into a trilogy of films.
Kate Upton is rumored to be among three actresses currently being considered for the role of “Queenie”. Other A-list celebrities are also rumored to be being considered for other parts in the films, including Dakota Fanning for the role of “Tina”.
This is a marked departure for the Harry Potter franchise in terms of casting, which stuck rigidly with actors and actresses who were native to the United Kingdom for all eight main Harry Potter movies in the franchise. But the decision fits the storyline, apparently, which is set to take place in New York City, rather than across the pond.
