Galore Fashion Week Recap- #NYFW Week2 F/W14
The second half of fashion week left on a great note with asymmetrical separates, 60’s influences and boxing babes, here are a few of our faves we were excited to see.
Marc Jacobs heats things up with his F/W 2014 collection. Even a Kardashian walking the cat walk didn’t take the attention away from the beautiful collection. Sheer basics, sophisticated deep V marbled wool and sequin 2 piece pant suits reminiscent of 60’s Pucci ensembles. The entire collection, hair and makeup felt like a 60s Bond movie set in the swiss alps. The perfect pieces for Aprés Ski.
DIESEL BLACK GOLD
Diesel Black Gold sticks to it’s Rock n Roll chic look with this latest collection. Metallics graced the runway along with sexy mini sweater dresses and festive pleated skirts. The buckled and studded boots were on trend and totally wearable, you’re going to want to have these in your closet.
Hand motifs, zipper accents, fingerprint textiles, basically lines going everywhere. Hi-lo tops and skirts give the perfect balance between sexy and sophisticated and sexy new ways to show off that bod. And not to mention the wall of dripping chocolate that played background to the runway as guests were treated to warm Hot cocoa. Yumm!
And from week 1 some more shows we loved:
CUSHNIE ET OCHS
Sign me up for the Cushnie Coven! I loved this collection, there was a great mix of cowgirl, goth, witchy vibes. AHH so good! So many sexy LBD’s in all shapes and length’s, I seriously want them all. Not to mention having mega model Karolína Kurkova grace the runway.
Adam Selman’s second collection was filled with fun prints and great punches of color. Fun,carefree, and so many elephant trunk bottoms. I love his use of understated sexy pieces something as Rihanna’s costume designer he does so well.
