Galore Fashion: Charles Youssef Lights Up NYFW

There are reasons why 32 year old British designer Charles Youssef is being hailed the “one to watch” this season at New York Fashion Week and his current collection “Divided Light” is one of them. The former Gareth Pugh and Ralph Lauren designer held this morning’s show in the industrial Pillars 37 space, but even the eery lighting and forbidding metal beams couldn’t take away from the expertly tailored, geometric designs that came pouring down the zig zagging runway. Incorporating illuminating LED panels in the clothing and fitting the models with very chic creeper styled shoes (a brilliant turn by stylist Kate Foley), Youssef has certainly proven himself to be a contender for the number one standout at this year’s New York Fashion Week.
