What’s brit week all about?
It’s a celebration of British culture, heritage, music, art and fashion in California.
How did you get involved?
I met the wonderful Tamie Adaya from Hotel Shangrila in London around 4 years ago at a party and we’ve been sisters ever since. It was her idea to bring myself an other artists over for her showcase at her gorgeous hotel.
Who are the other folks involved?
Super babe stylist and creative director Soki Mak and performance artist Scottee.
What did you contribute?
We took part in an intimate Q&A by Art patron Tamie Adaya in the Penthouse at Hotel Shangrila and brought over our own British way of partying.
What do you love most about England?
Well it’s not the weather. It’s the people, culture and style. People really don’t give a f*** in a good way.
If you could bring one thing over to the states what would it be?
Me and Soki Mak forever.
What are you up to in LA?
Visiting Jayne Mansfield’s grave, thrift shopping, drinking White Russians, throwing parties at Hotel Shangrila and jumping in swimming pools way past my bedtime.
What’s coming up next?
I’ve just been signed to Wilhelmina LA so more fun in America. I also have a special project coming up at Hotel Shangrila. Keep your eyes peeled #decodreaming
