Galore Darling: Hardware LDN Founder Jessica Horwell Designs For The Free-Minded

Hardware London has been rocking the fashion world all thanks to designer & founder Jessica Horwell. We were stoked to chat with the darling about all her brand that has been worn by some of our fave celebs, check out what she’s up to and what’s coming up below!

Tells about the origins of Hardware?
My ideas really come to me at the most random times, I never sit down like, “here we go.” I’m thinking about it all day everyday. I have a folder I’m constantly adding to then when it comes to launching a collection I choose my favorites. Often one idea leads to another.

How would you describe the brand?
I think Hardware London is a lifestyle brand, when people buy the clothes you become part of that lifestyle. Style is a way to express yourself. I like to feel like I help people do that. Hardware London definitely has a strong brand identity; it’s for the outspoken, free-minded kind of people.

What are Hardware main influences?
I have a strong 90’s influence for sure, my favorite era for fashion. I like to make comfy clothes that you still feel badass in. I get influenced when I travel to different places around the world. Spending time in places that I love like Berlin, LA and NYC are amazing—you’re constantly surrounded by things that inspire you.

Who’s been wearing your stuff?
I have been lucky to have some dope people wear my stuff—Cara Delevingne, Rita Ora, AlunaGeorge, Jessie J, Mac Miller to mention a few. Rihanna has asked for stuff a few times as well.

Who would you like to wear your stuff?
Snoop Dogg. I named one of the tracksuits in my most recent collection, “The Godfather,” after his album. A two-piece black velour tracksuit I think would look so dope on him. I am going to gift him one.

What’s coming up next?
Hardware London Sunglasses dropping in July, a jewelry collab with this amazing brand from San Fran, a collaboration with a really dope artist from NYC that will be dropped this September Fashion Week—lots of different things.
