Dudes: Don’t Be This Guy
Since I moved to New York, there seems to be an endless amount of dudes: they’re the ones on apps like Tinder, not to mention the ones you run into on a daily basis. In my attempts at being a nice girl, I do my best to tell guys when I’m not into them; as there’s no reason to be a tease or string them along. After all, I would want a guy to do the same to me, you know?
Unfortunately, some fellas still get pretty offended when I try to tell it like it is. However, this particular guy took the cake. I thought about letting him remain anonymous, but his response was way too funny, lame, and stereotypical for me to feel bad for him.

When he started asking me to skip out on work early and join him at his place to get snowed in together, I quickly realized he wasn’t my type of guy. After he asked me to hangout twice more the next day, I decided it was time to set him straight. The results were ugly:
Gentlemen, this is why you can’t have nice things.
