The Stars Come Out When Chanel Salzburg Does New York
Didn’t get your invite to Karl Lagerfeld’s repeat performance of his Salzburg Metier d’Art collection held at the Park Avenue Armory last night? Neither did we, but thanks to social media, we have a pretty good idea of what went down at Chanel’s Sound of Music-inspired show.
The Park Avenue Armory was looking like a straight up rococo palace.
Beyonce showed up, looking flawless as ever
So did Dakota Johnson, who looked stunning in her Spring 2014 Chanel Haute Couture
Pharrell, who’s about to become a fashion icon, showed up with his wife Helen, who looked radiant, if not less than enthusiastic about being seen next to Pharrell, Casual Officer.
Like she knows he’s a gentleman and all, but she just sooooooo prefers Skateboard P.
But that’s okay, because once they sat down, Pharrell held court with Queen Bey.
After allowing his guests the appropriate amount of time for stuntin’ and posing, the lights dimmed and the models, giving their fiercest Jane Austin heroin eyes, showed off some intricate, masterfully crafted Chanel designs.
The show ended with our two favorite models, Princess Cara and Lady Kendall, walking hand-in-hand. Awwwww, fwiendship.
After the show, our carb-loving princess probably wanted to snack on one of these soft pretzels
But she was probably too busy changing to get ready for her performance of the Chanel-comissioned “CC The World” with Pharrell
Ah, the sacrifices we make for fame. Not that Cara’s complaining – who wouldn’t want to hang out with Pharrell? Just look at that face.
All in all, this night looked great and we wish we’d been there. Next time.
