DJ Brendan Fallis & His New York State of Mind
Perk up! New York Fashion Week is just getting started, kittens… DJ and foxy man-about-town, Brendan Fallis, has no time for fashion fatigue with his dizzying schedule which includes spinning for a slew of chic runway shows (Jill Stuart, Kaelen) and invite-only bashes (Grand Life’s “This is New York” Party, Stylecaster x LA Perla Valentine’s Day Party), all the while looking really, really good. Despite his insane schedule, the in-demand DJ (and soon-to-be Macy’s Bar III reality star) took a break to have some fun with us for our lil chit-chat.
What are the ups and downs of being a Scorpio? Ups – revenge; Downs – revenge LOL
What is your spirit animal? Still working on that one. It might take a trip to South America and some hallucinogens to find that out.
What would your wedding song be? Wow, surprised no one has ever asked me that. Hmmmmm… “Waterfalls” by TLC because of “Don’t go chasing waterfalls, stick to the rivers and the lakes that you’re used too…..”

Most memorable night in NYC: When I first moved to NYC, I wanted to go to all the best parties and all the most exclusive ones. It was Fashion Week and I finagled my way into one of the top parties that week. When I finally got in, I realized I wasn’t even in the best place in the party yet… there was still a VIP area in this already VIP party. Not knowing what I would do to get in there, I quickly assessed the situation and realized I was wearing a head to toe black outfit. So I went over to order a drink from the bar, and when it came, I picked up a busing tray, put my drink on it and headed right for the VIP. Just as I suspected, the bouncer to the VIP opened the rope and I walked right in. Made for pretty much the most amazing night after that as I got to hang with people I would have never expected and partied with them till the sun came up. #onlyinnewyork
Every guy needs a ___ in his closet… A good pair of broken in jeans, classic J.Crew knit, and a pair of Nike flyknits.
If you were asked to work a runway as a model, would you? And what should would you wanna strut in? 😉
I think it might look a little odd at my height. If I had three more inches on me, then yes, I most likely would. Big fan of Jil Sander, so that’s probably what I’d walk it in.
Model Crush: In my youth, Alessandra Ambrosio, but for the now, Lara Stone.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? I try not to picture myself anywhere that far out. If I had assumed I’d be here ten years ago, I would have been way off. I like keeping it interesting. The only thing I can say is in ten years I see myself being very happy, fulfilled and successful within my own right. That’s all I would love to see in 10 years.
