Beyonce And Jay-Z Continued To Be Creepy This Weekend
robots royals Jay-Z and Beyonce kept up their usual we’re-people-but-not-really act this weekend. Beyonce visited Haiti with the U.N. to visit earthquake survivors and to probably promote her own charity organization, “Bey Good”. Beyonce took the humanitarian mission as an opportunity to look good doing good.

Meanwhile, back in Brooklyn, Jay-Z played a private show for subscribers of his controversial streaming platform, Tidal. To attend the concert, users had to make and share a playlist with the hashtag #TIDALXJAYZ. The rap mogul kicked off the concert at Terminal 5 with a freestyle that addressed police brutality, the evils of Spotify and YouTube, and the awesomeness of himself and his brand.
He addresses the Tidal competitors: “Jimmy Iovine offered a safety net / Google dangled around a crazy check / I feel like YouTube was the biggest culprit.”
Then goes on to say: “You know I came to this game independent, right? Tidal, my own label, same difference.”
The crowd particularly liked: “You bought nine iPhones and Steve Jobs is rich / Phil Knight is worth trillions, you still bought them kicks / Spotify is nine billion, they ain’t say shit.”
