Most stoners we know are supporting Bernie Sanders, so it only makes sense that you can now buy a weed pipe with the presidential candidate’s name emblazoned on it.
Ariel Zimman of Stonedware is the Bernie fan behind these cute lil’ bowls. She’s selling them online for $60. She was donating 10% of the proceeds to the Bernie campaign, but she’s already reached the donation limit. She’s now donating a portion of proceeds to helping women get into STEM education.
The bowls say “Bernie 2016” and have a charming likeness of Bernie stamped on the end. Stonedware also makes really cute non-Bernie-related smoking implements.
Some boring people at the Center for Public Integrity pointed out that Zimman could get in legal trouble for outwardly stating that she was donating a portion of sales to Bernie, but it’s unlikely Zimman will get sued for donating to the campaign.
“It was really just a way to show my support for him as a candidate,” she told the Center for Public Integrity. “People love [the pipes], and once they hear they are contributing in some way to the campaign, they are all about that too.”
