Beach Riot Collabs With Galore On A Bombshell Tee
Southern California lifestyle brand BEACH RIOT will launch its first ready-to-wear collection February 22nd at the AXIS Show in New York. With BEACH RIOT’S trademark 80’s and 90’s inspired bold prints, sexy silhouettes and street to beach attitude, brand Founder and Creative Director Nicole Hanriot has created a line that embodies the California surfer girl attitude. In support of the launch, BEACH RIOT has teamed up with our very own Prince and Jacob on an amazing photo shoot, look-book and limited edition BEACH RIOT x GALORE Bombshell tee. Juliana Herz By Prince & Jacob
Beach Riot & Galore decided to collab on a shirt especially for fashion week! What prompted the collab on your end?
We Love Prince & Jacob and have been wanting to work together for a while now. This was the perfect timing with the launch of our first apparel line! The Beach Riot girl is a Beach Bombshell and all the Galore Girls are a perfect fit for the collection! The collection represents everything that Beach Riot stands for and the pieces are made for the Street to the Beach. The Bombshell T-Shirt Collab is the perfect vintage throwback to the 90s, and who doesn’t love a 90s Bombshell?!
What was your favorite part of the collab?
The best part of the collab was getting to shoot with Prince & Jacob. It really pulled the entire collection & collab together. I can’t wait to see all the girls rocking the tees during fashion week!
Can you tell us about what went into the design?
It was a collaborative effort. We really wanted to design something that represented the 90’s bombshell and loved the idea of doing a cropped tee. I love the bright yellow and bold red writing, it really looks like a vintage piece!
What’s the idea behind the photoshoot?
The theme behind the collection was Viva Mexico, it was great getting to shoot in our local roots of downtown LA. We were really able to showcase how the apparel can be worn from the street to the beach! You will see a lot of really cute kitchy tops with Spanish writing. The collection is full of everything from printed dresses to rompers and even some loungewear! Juliana was the perfect girl for the shoot!
Is the general public able to buy this tee any time soon? Or is it just for fashion week super stars?
Yes the Bombshell tee will be available at retailers this Fall!
