The Bachelorette’s makeup artist confirms there is no makeout-proof makeup

Assuming you haven’t been living under a rock for your entire life or aren’t a robot who only recently became sentient, then you know about one of the greatest mysteries that’s ever eluded humanity.

Where to buy makeout-proof makeup that actually works.

But makeup-artist Gina Modica, who’s worked on The Bachelorette since season 1, says the joke’s been on you the whole time. There is no magical product that will solve all your kissing problems.

And if anybody would know, it’s her.

“When you’re kissing, you lose lipstick,” Gina told Refinery29. “And when that happens, I just run in and fix the liner and reapply the lips.”

Still, there are some products that hold up to kissing a little better than other.

Gina recommends using lip stains and tints instead of a more traditional lipstick. “Armani has one that’s good; so does Too Faced,” Gina explained.

But mostly, Gina says to just use a lip liner.

“When that happens, I just run in and fix the liner and reapply the lips.”

Recommends just keeping it simple and using a lip liner.

The more you know.
