Andreja Pejic Looks Sexy AF On Her First Magazine Cover Post-Transition

Andreja Pejic has one of those wild “from obscurity to fame” career stories.

Pejic’s long list of achievements include a cosmetic campaign with Makeup Forever, a profile in Vogue, and now, the cover star of Marie Claire Spain’s March issue.

Landing the cover is a huge milestone for Pejic in both her career and personal life as this is her first cover since transitioning in 2014. The headline reads “Romper El Tabú,” which means “Breaking The Taboo.”

Pejic’s last job before modeling was flipping burgers at McDonald’s – okay, not quite flipping, but close. She was discovered late one evening when Joseph Tenni, a model scout for Chadwick Models, walked into McDonald’s and spotted Pejic behind the counter doling out burgers, fries and McNuggets, according to the Telegraph.

Tenni left Pejic his card and a few months later, Pejic made her first catwalk debut, although back then she was living as genderqueer Andrej Pejic.

Since then, she’s transitioned to life as a woman, changed her name, and even sat for Galore’s cameras.

Rock on, Andreja.
