Charli XCX Is Designing A Line Of 90’s-Inspired Clothing, Here’s What To Expect

It’s no secret that Charli XCX has style, and now, you can have it too.

Even though she recently canceled the entire East Coast leg of her Charli And Jack Do America Tour because her constant touring life was taking too much of a toll on her creativity, Charli is about to do something unprecedented: she’s becoming a fashion designer.

The bad bitch of pop is collaborating with e-retailer Boohoo to design three capsule collections, beginning with a 20-piece collection for the holiday season that’s set to release October 26. Oh, and there’s also gonna be accessories because sometimes dreams really do come true.

According to Char Char (as I affectionately like to call her), the collection is “fun, bold and electrifying” and as you can see from their statement, Boohoo is also super about the collaboration:

“We are thrilled to be collaborating with Charli XCX and to be the first fashion brand to work with her in this way. Our customers love her music and her style… she is a perfect fit for the brand. The synergy between music and fashion grows stronger daily and at, we are excited to be able to help further bridge this gap and bring some amazing fashion to our customers at very affordable prices.”

Although the designs have yet to be revealed, it’s practically a given that the clothes will reflect Char Char’s distinctive style, which she described to us as “definitely 90s inspired. Sexy and cute and bubblegum but evil at the same time.”

Given everything we know, here’s what we think you should expect:

1. Little, satin dresses

2. Animal print everything (and a whole lotta separates)

Josh Brasted/FilmMagic

3. Fringe jackets

4. Patchwork denim

5. All of the crop tops

MTV Style / Via

6. A dash of leather

Ap Images/Invasion

7. High slits

8. Sheer, ruffled shirts

9. A sensible suit

Because every now and then, a girl’s gotta look classy.
