Victoria’s Secret Just Unveiled Their Sexiest Fantasy Bra Ever
There’s nothing like a good bra to make a woman feel sexy, and nobody does sexy quite like Victoria’s Secret. Since 1996, the lingerie company has released an annual Fantasy Bra, billed as the ultimate holiday gift. It’s never cost less than $1 million, and has cost as much as $15 million. Additionally, the bra serves as the centerpiece for the company’s annual fashion show.
We didn’t think we could get any more excited about this year’s show after learning that Gigi Hadid had booked a spot on the runway, but this morning Victoria’s Secret unveiled their new fantasy bra, and we can’t stop drooling over it.
Modeled by veteran Angel Lily Aldridge, the 2015 Fireworks Fantasy Bra is literally a work of art. Crafted by the label’s traditional jeweler, Mouaward, the sleek, demi-shaped bra is adorned with more than 14 different precious gemstones, ranging from blue topaz and garnet to 375 karats of diamonds. Oh, and did we mention that all 1,364 karats are set in 18-karat gold?
As if that’s not enough, the matching panties are encrusted with 126 diamonds and 400 other precious stones. If there was ever an excuse for leaving your house in just your underwear, this would be it.
If all of this sounds like it’s just your style, then you might want to start saving your hard-earned paychecks because this year’s fantasy bra will set you back $2 million.
The bras are available for purchase for exactly one year after their debut, although to date, the only two bras to ever be snatched up are the Heavenly “70” Fantasy Bra from 2004, which was worth $10 million and modeled by the legendary Tyra Banks
and the Dream Angels Fantasy Bras from 2014, which went for $2 million, and were modeled by Alessandra Ambrosio and Adriana Lima.
Unless you plan on winning the lottery (or hooking up with an incredibly generous sugar daddy), chances are that this fantasy bra will have to remain a figment of your fantasy. Oh well. At least we’ll all get to watch somebody get to wear it on December 9th. Until then, our dreams will just have to do.
