6 Times Musicians Were Actually Creepy, Not Romantic

Maroon 5‘s new video is a real bloody affair. Adam Levine plays a butcher that is stalking Behati Prinsloo singing, “do you think that you can hide?” He’s really a creepy dude in this video- when he’s not stalking, he’s just hanging around like a piece of butchered meat. In the end the two make sweet, animalistic love…covered in blood. Somewhere we’re supposed to think this was destiny or at least really hot. It’s not. It’s just plain creepy…but hey, I guess the joke’s on us because Adam still gets the hot supermodel as his wife. Perhaps Adam was inspired by some other pervy artists that tried to be romantic- take a look at these romantic song fails.

Other creepy dudes trying to be romantic…

Robin Thicke “Get Her Back”
This recent effort to win back his wife Paula, takes the cake. This is truly a desperate man but somewhere inside his head he was thinking, “this is so romantic”.

The Police “Every Breathe You Take”
“Every breathe you take, every move you make, every bond you break, every step you take I’ll be watching you.” C’mon Sting, get a life. This is just a full blown stalker song, no way to disguise that.

Enrique Iglesias “Tonight (I’m F***in’ You)
“Please excuse me, I don’t mean to be rude, but tonight I’m f***in’ you” Well Enrique, that is rude.

Lionel Richie “Hello”
A love song to a woman he has never said hello to… “I long to see the sunlight in your hair and tell you time and time again how much I care. Sometimes I feel my heart will overflow. Hello!”

Carole King “Where You Lead”
Sorry Loreali and Rory, this song is a little creepy. Carole King had good intentions but just needed to tone down the passion a bit: “Where you lead, I will follow you anywhere”. Maybe she and Sting should talk (and stalk).
